Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad is a Sydney artist, poet, and pianist of Indian heritage. She holds a Masters in English and is a member of the North Shore Poetry Project, and Authora Australis. She has been painting and exhibiting for the past twenty years and her paintings can be found in many private collections. She has been widely published in both print and online literary journals and anthologies, and her recent works have been showcased in Dwell TimeStar 82 ReviewOtoliths, 3 AM Magazine, and are forthcoming in  Club Plum JournalParentheses JournalPithead Chapel, and elsewhere.
