Rees Nielsen gave 35 years of his life to farming the orchards and vineyards along with his cousins on the family farm in California’s San Joaquin Valley. After his wife Riina passed he moved to Iowa to chauffeur his grandchildren. He has had prose, poetry and visual art accepted in numerous publications here and in the UK. He currently has an illustrated book of poems available by Cholla Needles Press.
